Projects

Budchat

Budchat, designed as part of the Introduction to Interface Design course at IDC, IIT Bombay, helps new students navigate hostel life by fostering a shared economy through a vibrant marketplace for buying, selling, and sharing items, promoting sustainable and collaborative financial habits.

Paas-Book

As part of the User Studies course at IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, this project explored user behavior and pain points through interviews and analysis to ensure a user-centered design. We reimagined bank passbook data with a personalized app featuring real-time updates, interactive charts, expense tracking, and machine-learning-driven insights.

Krant-e

IIT Bombay's EV shuttle fleet faces efficiency and user experience challenges. This project focused on optimizing the system by designing a new app to enhance the user journey, rebranding the fleet, and implementing route optimizations for better performance. The brief emphasized improving both operational efficiency and the overall user experience.

BHIM: Usability Evaluation

The project evaluated BHIM's usability, learnability, and visual design for new, digitally less literate, and non-English users. Through app review and Usability Goal Setting, we identified key user tasks. Methods like Heuristic Evaluation, Metrics, HTA, and SHERPA revealed usability issues and inefficiencies, enabling actionable recommendations and design validation.

Donor-NGO Interaction Transformation

This project, part of the Service Design course at IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, aimed to enhance the donor-NGO interaction by designing solutions to streamline and scale second-hand book and monetary donation processes.

Brush Property Manipulation Interaction

Drawing and editing applications often require users to navigate multiple clicks and scattered menus to adjust settings, making tasks such as configuring brushes tedious and time-consuming. The project focuses on designing an interaction technique aimed at streamlining the process and improving the ux by offering a more efficient way to interact.

The Fabric of Time

The project explores a fabric-based video timeline controller that allows intuitive interaction with video content. This fabric serves as a clear representation of time, enabling users to control and interact with video timelines while observing real-time changes. The design aims to offer an innovative, tactile experience in manipulating time and video content.
